How does it work?

Sassio has direct commercial access to all Irish and multiple International mobile operators. Using volume agreements, aggregation and state of the art WAP technology, we can deliver your text messages from your mobile, to your recipient, quickly, securely and reliably; the only place you'll notice any difference between sending messages over your existing operator and over Sassio, is in your wallet. It's not rocket science, just clever. The reality is that you are simply paying too much to have your text messages delivered. You may not have had an option before but you certainly do now, so get started and start saving! And as an added bonus, you can also claim €20 call credit every month!

*Fair Usage Policy

We do apply a fair usage policy which allows you to send text messages to other mobile users on any Irish mobile network to a maximum of 250 per messages week. Unused text messages cannot be carried over to following weeks. Messages are not transferrable.

How do I start using my messages?

Once you are a Sassio member, go to the Sassio.com wap or website and follow the instructions.
Remember to bookmark the link wap.sassio.com on your mobile for future use.
You will also notice that you receive your first week's messages for FREE! This free week of messaging may only be applied once to a mobile phone number.

How do I get my €20 bonus call credit every month?

When you become a Sassio member, you are entitled to claim a bonus €20 call credit every month.
To do this, simply follow the instructions on the wap site, wap.sassio.com. You must be a Sassio member for a minimum of 6 (six) days in order to claim your bonus credit. On the 6th day or thereafter, you must go to the appropriate claim section of the wap site and follow the process. For as long as you are a Sassio member, you may claim your credit every month; one month after your last claim date. It is your responsibility to claim your €20 phone credit, it is not automatically assigned. Phone credit is non transferrable and may not be exchanged for cash. Phone credit may not carry over for unclaimed periods. If you do not claim for a particular period, you will not receive credit for that period.

Do I have to sign a contract with Sassio and leave my current mobile provider?

No you don't. Sassio is not a mobile network so you stay with your current mobile provider or whoever you choose to use. Irrespective of which mobile operator you are with, you may use your Sassio messages each week as you please.

Can I use Sassio to send messages when I am outside of Ireland?

Yes, from your Irish mobile, to any other Irish Mobile, irrespective of where you or the recipient are located. Roaming charges may apply and you will need to check with your mobile operator as to what their roaming charges are.

How do I WAP enable my mobile phone?

You will find that the majority of mobile phones purchased since 2007 are WAP enabled.
Usually when you purchase a mobile phone the WAP settings are pre-installed and if not, most mobile operators will text you with the settings when their network realises that you are using a new mobile phone. If you cannot WAP enable your mobile phone and are unsure if it has the capability, we recommend that you contact your mobile operator directly for advice.

When I use Sassio to send a message, will my mobile number be visible to the recipient?

Yes, just as it currently is with all Irish mobile operators.

Can I integrate my phone book to use with Sassio?

Currently you cannot, but you will be able to do so very soon.

Will this work on any mobile phone?

Your mobile must be WAP enabled in order to use the service. You may experience difficulty accessing the link from certain Android and Apple handsets. If you experience any such difficulties, please do not hesitate to contact customer service immediately by emailing info@sassio.com.

How do Data Charges apply?

In order to use Sassio to send messages from your mobile, you will be using Internet and WAP technology and you may incur data charges from your mobile operator. These charges will vary depending on your mobile operator. You may also find that your mobile phone and phone package includes unlimited data activity meaning that you not incur any costs.

Can I send a message that is longer than the standard size, 160 characters?

No, Sassio will only allow you to send individual messages of standard size at any given time, 160 characters. When you get to the maximum characters allowed as you are typing your message, you will not be ale to type any further.
